How do I know we’re a good fit?
Do you want to create a memorable, one-of-a-kind, luxurious experience for your wedding? Do you want to design an event that tells a story, elevates the energy, and fosters long-lasting memories for you and your guests?
If that’s you, Bloom Poet is the perfect fit for you. We love working with couples who want to design an entirely unique experience, and who view their wedding as a creative journey. Whatever you’re envisioning, we’ll partner with you to create floral designs that reflect your vision for your day.
Do you practice sustainability?
This is a given for us. As a Slow Flowers member, we prioritize American-grown, sustainable flowers wherever possible. We work with over 50 farmers, many of whom are close friends. They grow the most incredible seasonal blooms you won’t find with a generic florist. We also refuse to use toxic floral foam or other mechanics that create unnecessary trash.
How do you feel about LGBTQ+ and multicultural weddings?
We are so glad you asked! We wholeheartedly celebrate and incorporate diverse backgrounds in all we do. Every couple deserves to work with someone who celebrates them unconditionally — regardless of gender, race, class, sexual orientation, or ability.
Do you offer more than just flowers? Like rentals, event design, and decor?
Yes! We offer complete event coordination, which means we guide you through every creative decision of your day from start to finish. Plus you get access to our robust rental inventory like decor, furniture, linens, candles, arches, structures, vessels — the options are endless. Inquire for more details.
What areas do you service and do you travel?
We call Seattle home and serve the surrounding Tacoma and North Puget Sound areas. Of course, as fellow adventurers, we hold a special place in our hearts for destination weddings as well! Our owner, Carolyn, has lived and worked in over eleven countries and enjoys bringing her international experience to your event.
How far in advance should we inquire and how far in advance do you book?
It depends on the client. Typically, we book 12-18 months in advance. Before we chat, make sure you have your date, venue, and guest count solidified.
Do you offer floral design for events other than weddings?
Yes! If you are interested in a corporate event or other tailored event, let’s discuss more. We’re available for any gathering — as long as there are florals and creativity involved!
